Welcome to the Year 2 Home Learning page.
This area shows the learning in Year 2. You only need to complete this work if your child is absent from school because they have to self-isolate and they are well enough to complete it. When your child has completed the work, you can take photographs and email examples to your child's teacher via the office email address info@barnett-wood.surrey.sch.uk. You can also use www.educationcity.com to play games related to your child’s learning and read books using www.oxfordowl.co.uk
Please see the weekly timetable below. This will give you a good idea of the learning we are covering each day. Some activities have worksheets and this is indicated on the weekly plan.
Please name the work completed and briefly indicate the support given. Children can bring their learning back to school when they return.
Many thanks and we hope to see you soon.
In English we are learning to recognise and spell homophones.
Look at the BBC bitesize site to help you learn about homophones. There are some quizzes about homophones too.
