We are thrilled to inform you that Barnett Wood Infant School has been graded as Outstanding in all areas assessed during the latest inspection in November 2024. This includes Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, and Early Years. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, the support of our parents and Governors, and the wonderful efforts of your children.

The inspection team noted several strengths in our school, including:

• A strong commitment to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child feels safe, secure, and valued.
• An inclusive curriculum that promotes high expectations and ambition for all pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Pupils understand and model the school’s values such as being resilient and aspirational wonderfully. Pupils are kind and respectful towards each other.
• A culture that values reading for pleasure, encouraging our pupils to develop a lifelong love of reading.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement, and it reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that every child at Barnett Wood receives the highest quality of education and care.
